Assyrian costume from Qaraqosh, a Christian village in the North-West of Iraqi Kurdistan

A hand-emboidered dress covered by a hand-emboidered shawl, or Charouka, decorated with Christian symbols. The headdress is rainbow coloured and decorated with coins.
