GE Moore Lecture on Anthony Kersting

The 11th GE Moore Lecture at Dulwich College in South London examined the life and work of Anthony Kersting, a pupil at Dulwich College in the 1930s.

Gulan’s Creative Director Richard Wilding spoke, along with Tom Bilson from the Courtauld Institute of Art.

Richard showed historical photographs of Northern Iraq and Iraqi Kurdistan taken in 1944-46 by Anthony Kersting, a pupil of Dulwich College. He contrasted these with his contemporary photographs of the same subjects and locations in 2013-17.
